Emergency Telecommunication Certification

The IAED developed the ETC, a certification course that teaches students about 911 dispatch communication, legal situations, emergency telecommunication technologies, and more.

Fun Fact:

Indiana first 911 call was made on March 1968.

  • The program establishes a foundation-level industry-neutral certification for business professionals enabling employers and the candidate to have a platform to develop the Emergency Telecommunicators targeted positions within corporations.

  • This program requires 40 hours for completion.

  • In partnership with IAED (International Academy of Emergency Dispatch) we certify clients in Emergency Telecommunication.

  • Customer Service – One (1) efficient employee can do as much as four (4) average employees.

    Business Etiquette – Learning the social norms, behaviors and professional representation that can be offensive or can satisfy a customer or colleague.

    Communications – communications on all levels are important to a business growth and retention.
